A fun map of New Zealand place names with origins in Greek Mythology.
Made as part of my submissions for the #30DayMapChallenge. It shows place names in New Zealand that are related to deities, creatures and figures from Greek mythology. The majority of such names are located in the South Island, which has a high proportion of European colonial place names, whilst the North Island primarily derive from Māori.
