New Zealand Lakes Colour Palette

I was surprised to see just how much variation there was in lake colour – ranging from the vivid blues of the glacial lakes of Lake Pukaki and Tekapo, through to the near blacks of deep Lake Hauroko, right through to the verdant green of the polluted Lake Ellesmere.
